The Geologic Protractor is a very useful field tool. Graduated in 1 degree increments, it includes a full 360 degrees with square edges making it effective for reading bearings or plotting field measurements. It also includes a graph to determine apparent dip angles and thickness exaggeration for cross section construction. Map scales of 1:250,000, 1:125,000, 1:50,000 and 1:10,000 are also included. The card is 9 x 9 cm and printed on translucent 22 mil plastic. Waterproof and tear resistant.
